  • 鼻咽癌/EB病毒研究

本實驗室長期且持續進行研究以了解EB病毒之致癌角色,近年延伸至尋找適用於鼻咽癌早期診測、愈後追蹤、治療之生物標記,以及探討生物標記之機制。
1.探討台灣人鼻咽癌遺傳易感基因及預測臨床治療結果之生物標記: 以新穎之系統性分析平台尋找預測愈後追蹤、治療之鼻咽癌之single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)或遺傳易感基因。同時探討機制以建立學理基礎。 
2. 尋找及確認(validate)適用於鼻咽癌早期診測、愈後追蹤、治療之生物標記,進行轉譯醫學研究:利用affymetrix 比較鼻咽癌腫瘤組織及相對正常組織之基因表現,確認其作為生物標記之可能性,及生裡、病理機制。
3. 探討EBV致癌基因產物latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) 活化生物標記之機制:利用 LMP1之相互作用蛋白質及 LMP1調控之訊息傳導途徑,探討LMP1活化生物標記之機制及致癌功能如 cell transformation、cell migration activity、 anti-apoptosis 、 activation of inflammation等。
