Research outline(1-3 pages)

The goals of this lab are 1) to elucidate of the molecular basis of liver diseases, including tumor development, progression, invasion and metastasis, and the roles of gut microbiota in the modulation of host metabolic and immune responses to liver diseases and potentially clinical applications, 2) to improve current therapies to liver cancer and diseases, 3) to prevent the occurrence of liver cancers in patients of chronic hepatitis, such as viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, and metabolic associated liver diseases. The platforms applying to these studies include genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, molecular and cellular biology, immunology, and animal models.
