研究方向及研究室特色：
本實驗室的研究方向在於探討免疫調控（immune regulation)，包括了調節性T細胞(Regulatory T Cells)，耐受性樹突狀細胞(tolerogenic dendritic cells)，腫瘤相關巨嗜細胞(tumor associated mcrophage)及骨髓型抑制細胞 (MDSC)的免疫抑制機轉及在各種疾病所扮演的角色及治療上的可能發展。本實驗室所採取的研究架構，是結合基礎研究(basic study)與轉譯研究(translational study)。各以動物疾病模型與臨床病患為研究對象，在研究層面上相互支援。主要的方向有下列各項：

  1. 免疫調控的機轉：以動物模型為對象，目的在於瞭解 包括了調節性T細胞(Regulatory T Cells)，耐受性樹突狀細胞(tolerogenic dendritic cells)，腫瘤相關巨嗜細胞(tumor associated mcrophage)及骨髓型抑制細胞 的各項基本特性。
  2. 免疫調控在癌症免疫治療的角色：以動物模型與臨床病患為研究對象，目的在釐清調節性T細胞在抑制癌症免疫反應的機轉，以期發展有效的癌症免疫治療方法。
  3. 免疫調控在病毒肝炎及急性肝衰竭的角色：以動物模型與臨床病患為研究對象目的在瞭解免疫調控在慢性肝臟病毒感染及急性肝衰竭抑免疫反應的機轉，以期發展有效的免疫治療方法。
